Michelle was a co-founder of the PCPA in 1999 and has been their communications manager ever since. She worked within the NHS for nine years, before moving into a sales and marketing role for a publishing and medical education company for 8 years. She manages the PCPA's secretariat, events, marketing and is responsible for professional liaison and partnerships. Michelle also runs her own company, Pharmacomm Ltd, specialising in pharmacy medical communications projects.

Melisa joined PCPA in Febuary 2015 as PCPA Events and Website manager. She manages the PCPA events, PCPA technology, membership resources, promotional marketing correspondence and day to day running of the PCPA office.
Since joining PCPA she has been instrumental in the progression of PCPA events, technology, website, processes and marketing.
Melisa came from a Banking background of many years. With huge experience in driving customer care, finance and focus based projects. She later moved to gain her Childcare Diploma and work in childcare for 7 years. Before joining PCPA when her children had grown.
Carol Bell has a background in nursing. Before joining PCPA, Carol specialised in working with children with speech, language and communication needs.
She brings a wealth of knowledge in communication, which she implements through marketing, mailings and membership liaison.
Gareth has been the PCPA's freelance editor since 2011, before which he worked as a writer and editor for the Pharmaceutical Journal. He has worked as a senior pharmacist at Wirral University Teaching Hospital for six years until securing a clinical role at a GP practice in Liverpool as part of the NHS England pilot. He writes the PCPA Medicines Matters newsletter.
