About The PCPA

The Primary Care Pharmacy Association (PCPA) was established in 1999 for the benefit of all pharmacists with an active interest in primary care pharmacy. It is the largest and longest standing independent organisation dedicated to supporting pharmacists working within primary care.

Practice Pharmacy Group PPG

The Practice Pharmacy Group (PPG) - is a specialist group set up by the Primary Care Pharmacy Association (PCPA) to promote the sharing of best practice and to enable networking and medical education in this expanding area of primary care pharmacy. This group is open to all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians interested in this sector. The group has an expert UK steering group of experienced GP practice pharmacists. Each member of the steering group represents a region and has a GP advocate to support them in their role.

Care Homes Group CHG

The Care Homes Group has been set up to support all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with an interest in this area of practice. The group is run by an expert national steering committee.

This group will:

  1. Promote Best Practice
  2. Facilitate the sharing of resources
  3. Enable networking
  4. Provide Medical Education

Through:

  1. The sign posting, sourcing and development of resources
  2. The national forum
