PCPA is delighted to announce this years PCPA London & South East Symposium will be online via Zoom. 

Develop your clinical knowledge through interactive practical workshops, delivered by nationally renowned experts.

This event is FREE and open to all pharmacy professionals. Places are limited and priority given to PCPA members. This is a national event but with a regional flair.

Workshops selections will be released shortly. If you do not make a selection, these will be made on your behalf.

PCPA will send you your delegate pack, shortly before the event. This will include your bespoke personal programme (Zoom login details) and the event programme.
Parts of this meeting will be recorded.
Workshop presentations will be available to PCPA members only, post event.

PINCER & The New Indicators - Speakers: Professor Tony Avery

This presentation will give an overview of PINCER and will provide an update on the national rollout of PINCER to GP practices in England. Participants will be briefed on the three new Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) medication safety searches that have been developed by PRIMIS and hear about a new Structured Medication Review (SMR) Toolkit developed by NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG, which incorporates the PINCER indicators. Pharmacists will:

  • Learn how PINCER can help them with their SMRs
  • Understand the need for the new IIF searches and find out how to access them
  • See a demonstration of the SMR Toolkit in action
